Sunday, 05 September 2010
With so many BADrc racers driving Losi vehicles, this info should be of interest:
Losi's 1/8 Ultra Digits G2 Buggy Tires feature a Multi-level clustered pin design that has the pins grouped very closely providing incredible traction on hard packed tracks. The closeness of the pins enable the tire to have minimal lug flex which provides superior grip. The tall pins are supported by a base pin which aids in support. Also the closeness of the pins enables the tire to easily survive hour long mains on high bite surfaces. Made with Losi's Red compound which works excellent on medium to high grip outdoor blue groove tracks. Also, lightweight inserts that offer consistency and improved tire balance are included.
Features
Multi-Level Cluster Pin Design
Long Life Tread Pattern

O.S Speed 21XZ-B Buggy Engine
Written by brett
Sunday, 05 September 2010
O.S are a popular engine in the BADrc community, and they have recently announced this new offering:
O.S Speed have released the next incarnation of their World Championship winning buggy engine with the release of the 21XZ-B. This 3-port engine features smoother power delivery and an 8% improvement in fuel efficiency. The motor sports a new hardened and lightened crankshaft that uses tungsten weights for balancing, and this is mounted inside ceramic bearings for reduced rolling resistance. The cooling head has also received some attention, being lowered by 9mm and lightened through the use of holes to help lower its centre of gravity.
O.S. is definitely popular, as Boxhead was recently witnessed running in a new O.S. engine for his Truggy in preparation for the Back To Badlands race meet in October.
