Today's race results have been uploaded in the Race Results page in the menu to the left of screen.
Despite the lower numbers than had been promised in the Truggy Quickdraw, the quality of racing did not disappoint with some great battles all day and especially in the 30min final. After only racing once this year Mat Chatz dusted off the Mugen Truggy and took out the win, ahead of Karl Piepkorn who limped home 12 seconds later with a self destroying diff in his Losi, and Alan Nankervis finished in third after suffering two flame-outs!
In the Buggy class Jamie O'Brien took the win one lap ahead of Jordan Burley in second and Nathan Petts in third.
Short Course truck saw Brett Campbell take the win from the flying Matt Whyte in second and Tim Forster in third.
We were only able to get a small amount of footage during the day and will have this uploaded later in the week, and we'll have some pics uploaded to our Facebook page also.
Thanks again to all those that travelled, and a big thanks to Sean Connolly for giving up his day so that everyone could race!

After some of the regular boys got out to the track today and got it race ready, and removed some of the excess water (that's right it actually rained at the track!), tomorrows race day is a go!
in case you missed it all normal classes are running but the feature event is the Truggy Quick Draw, and here are the details:
- Race format is 3 x 10min qualifiers, with the TQ being the first person to draw from the hat what position they will start in the final 30 min race.
- Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 positions in the final.
As you may have seen from our Facebook page, their is already a great list of names that will be attending with some of the best truggy drivers in the state (and therefore the country). Combined with all the moisture in the track from earlier in the week, this should be epic!
Noms will be taken from 9:30am with racing at 10am. (No member discounts for truggies)

Here's the latest from Karl at Popkorn Graphix. If you think the color scheme looks familiar, you're right as it's the new shell for the Gusman, and you'd have to admit it looks like something you'd see on professional painters webspages.
As usual if you need a new body painted up, be sure to catch up with Karl at the next race-meet.

The BADRC Truggy Quickdraw will be held on Sunday the 19th May.
Race format is 3 x 10min qualifiers, with the TQ being the first person to draw from the hat what position they will start from in the final 30 min race.
Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 place getters in the final.
It's been along time since BADRC have put on a Truggy feature and with the track in tip top condition this is one race you don't want to miss.
Noms will be taken from 9:30am with racing at 10am (No member discounts for truggies).
All our other normal classes will be racing on the day, 1/8th Nitro Buggy, 1/8th Electric Buggy, 1/10th Short Course Truck, 1/10th Open.
